Usage guide

The generator is easy to use.

muraldxf.com is a parameter panel: choose the dimensions, mode and pattern, preview, and download the file. No installation, everything runs in the browser.

Define the sheet dimensions

Enter the width, height and margin of the part in millimeters. This is the usable surface on which the pattern will be generated.

Choose the generation mode

Two engines are available: Voronoi, which distributes organic cells while controlling their number and maximum size, or Shapes, which places repeated hollow forms.

Adjust the distribution pattern

Select how the cells or shapes are arranged: Archimedean spiral, logarithmic spiral, concentric circles or sinusoidal distribution, then fine-tune spacing and organic noise.

Preview and download

Click “Generate Preview” to see the design at scale. If you are happy with it, download it as DXF for laser cutting or as STEP for CAD editing or 3D printing.

Parameter panel

Every control you will see in the generator.

The side panel is organized into blocks. You can collapse each block to focus only on what you need.

Sheet dimensions

Width, height and outer margin in millimeters.

Generation mode

Voronoi (organic cells) or Shapes (hollow forms).

Mode parameters

In Voronoi: number of cells, maximum area and corner radius. In Shapes: type, size and density.

Distribution pattern

Archimedean spiral, logarithmic spiral, concentric circles or sinusoidal distribution.

Spacing and noise

Spacing between rings and points, plus an organic-noise slider to break up symmetry.

Advanced

Fine fabrication settings: minimum thicknesses, cutting radii and export options.

DXF

Laser cutting and CNC

Production-ready 2D vectors for laser, plasma, waterjet or CNC router work on sheet metal, wood or acrylic. This is the right format for exporting DXF for CNC and getting DXF files ready for laser cutting.

STEP

CAD and 3D printing

Editable 3D model in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino or FreeCAD. Any modern slicer (Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio…) also accepts STEP directly for 3D printing — no STL required.
